Meet & Greet Minutes
July 2008
Kopper Kitchen, Boise, ID
Before the meeting started there was alot of discussion
about the Wallowa lake Cruise. Everyone talked about how wonderful
the ride was, what all we saw, wonderful places we ate at and
what we did.
Meeting was called to order by Richard at 6:34 pm.
Richard did not have anything so turned meeting over to Connie
to discuss upcoming events.
21 members were present.
Next cruise will be Lynne and Gordy's
on August 16th. We are to meet at 10:00 a.m. at Storey Park in
Meridian, leave at 10:30. This one will be a Mystery cruise. When
we have these they are alot of fun. We will be stopping for lunch
so please bring your lunch money. We will cruise for a bit and
then end up at Lynne and Gordy's for dessert and games.
Barry announced that the Air Force Appreciation
Day Parade will be 2nd Saturday of September and
he will get more information on it by next meeting or next cruise.
September 27, 2008 is the Wilson's BarBCruise
at their cabin at Terrace lake more to come later.
Barry is also checking into the Christmas Parade
in Mountain Home and everyone would like to do the Boise Christmas
Parade too. Details will be up and coming as they're are finalized.
Ray talked about everyone going to eagle Island
Park for a picnic one weekend. More discussion late when a date
can be determined/
We would like t do another Jackpot cruise, possibly
in October, again more to come later.
Bill announced that the Sun Valley Jazz
Festival is October 18 and maybe we would like to
cruise up for one day. They will be there all week and he thought
a one day ticket would be about $35.00 to #400.00.
Connie and Larry are going to plan a fall cruise
up through cascade and the make the loop to look at the
Changing of the Trees - date and time to announced
later.
Barry gave the Treasures Report and all bills were
turned into him for expenses that were accumulated from our main
event.
Meeting was closed at 7:00 pm.
